Aisling Bea
Aisling bea was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is among Ireland's most famous and wealthiest comedians. The comedian has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) also known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actress writer and comedian. In the aftermath of appearing in small parts on a number of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea began her journey as a stand-up comic in 2011. Bea began performing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms during 2012. In 2012, after winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for panels on various shows and became a frequent guest. From 2016 to 2017 she was the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant on the spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has her younger sister Sinead. In 2012 she became the second woman to ever win the So You Think you're Funny award. Bea is her maiden name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was conceived on Mar 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life when Bea was just three years old though she was not told the cause of his death until she was 13. In 2017, Bea published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and changed her stage name to Bea in remembrance of him. Bea (n e Moloney) as well as older sister Sinead was brought up by Helen, a teacher and jockey trainer. She was an experienced jockey. They were obsessed with racing and horses. At the time of her childhood, Bea worked as tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she had a clear idea from a very young age that she was not attracted to the race industry for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
