Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B for a distinctive mix. From Broadway to European music festivals and clubs the singer has done work all over the world. Sunshine is a name that she has given her has been given as Denise White. She hails from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her career in music by singing and playing the piano in church. After attending Spellman College, Atlanta she embarked on her journey of music in Atlanta's R&B culture. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was called Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan; it has since been remixed by many producers and remains a staple in her live show. Her voice was also featured in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. She became the primary keyboardist at Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy- and Tony Award winning vocalist who had worked on the stage production Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, approached her to be the choir leader of the stage production. Sunshine gained national recognition through her performances on four consecutive days during 2008's Democratic National Convention. She was then invited to perform during President Obama's 2009 inauguration.

Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to fame after releasing her debut album Age Ain't Nothing More Than a Number in 1994. At the age of 15 the album was awarded Gold status. R.
